On 2 July 2026, Mr. Daechapon Lersuwanaroj, Chief Executive Officer and President of BBGI Public Company Limited (BBGI), attended the press conference for the launch of the Thailand AI Readiness Index (TARI) at Harmony Grand Ballroom, 2nd Floor, BDMS Connect Center, Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok.

The event was organized by the National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO), in collaboration with AIS Academy and IRIS Consulting Co., Ltd., with the objective of enhancing the readiness of Thai businesses in adopting artificial intelligence (AI). It also aimed to foster collaboration through the ARC Community network to strengthen Thailand’s long-term AI capabilities.

The event featured a special keynote address titled “Thailand’s Vision for AI Development” delivered by Professor Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. The keynote highlighted the national direction for advancing AI to enhance Thailand’s competitiveness. In addition, a panel discussion titled “How Ready Are Thai Organizations for the AI Era?” brought together representatives from the public and private sectors, as well as AI experts, to exchange perspectives on organizational AI readiness, challenges, and opportunities in AI adoption.
