BBGI Posts Robust Q3/2026 Earnings, Driven by Higher Biofuel Sales and SAF Investment Gains

BBGI Public Company Limited (BBGI) delivered a strong performance in the third quarter of 2026, with sales revenue climbing 68% YoY to THB 7,323 million, up 15% QoQ. Net profit surged 430% YoY to THB 497 million, marking a 2% increase QoQ, while earnings per share stood at THB 0.34. The results were supported by stronger biofuel sales, improved selling prices, and contributions from the Company’s Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) investment, highlighting BBGI’s ability to capture growth opportunities amid a dynamic energy market.
Higher sales volumes across both core businesses contributed to the quarter’s revenue growth. Biodiesel (B100) sales reached 131.04 million liters, up 13% QoQ, benefiting from Thailand’s B7 biodiesel blending policy, which is scheduled to remain in effect until December 13, 2026. Bioethanol sales also gained momentum, rising 9% QoQ to 73.42 million liters. Alongside increased demand, higher average selling prices for both products provided additional support to revenue growth. While rising energy and chemical costs continued to put pressure on production expenses, BBGI maintained its focus on raw material cost management and efficient plant operations. The Company also recognized THB 171 million in share of profit from its SAF investment, adding another source of earnings contribution during the quarter.
Against a backdrop of geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and volatility in agricultural feedstock markets, BBGI is strengthening its ability to respond to changing market conditions. Seasonal variations, weather-related factors, and domestic policy developments remain key considerations in managing feedstock availability and pricing. To navigate these challenges, the Company continues to align production, procurement, and sales with market demand, while pursuing greater operational efficiency and flexibility to support long-term competitiveness.
Mr. Daechapon Lersuwanaroj, Chief Executive Officer and President of BBGI Public Company Limited, commented: “Strong financial performance is an important measure of our progress, but our long-term ambition extends beyond quarterly results. At BBGI, we focused on building a business that can adapt, compete, and grow as the energy landscape evolves. By strengthening our operational capabilities and leveraging opportunities within the biofuels sector, we aim to create lasting value while supporting the use of Thailand’s domestic resources and reinforcing the country’s energy security.”
For the first nine months of 2026, BBGI reported net profit of THB 1,246 million, a 583% increase YoY, equivalent to earnings per share of THB 0.86. Reflecting its strong earnings performance and commitment to shareholder returns, the Company paid an interim dividend of THB 0.20 per share on October 15, 2026, from unappropriated retained earnings, in connection with its financial results for the first half of the year.
